Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including account, contact, business, profile, billing, and configuration details.
When you connect WhatsApp or website content, we may process message, contact, session, FAQ, scrape, and automation-related data needed to provide the service.
We may also process support, security, telemetry, and service-usage information related to operation, protection, and improvement of the platform.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide, operate, secure, support, and improve the platform.
For your own account, billing, support, and security records, DarlingAI acts on its own behalf as controller for those activities.
For end-user WhatsApp content and related customer workspace content, DarlingAI processes data to deliver service according to your settings, instructions, and applicable legal or contractual limits.
WhatsApp Data and Connection
When you connect WhatsApp, we may process connected-number data, session data, message content, contact identifiers, and related automation metadata needed to run the service.
You may disconnect your WhatsApp account from settings, but some records may remain subject to service, security, billing, legal, vendor, or backup limits.
You are responsible for making sure you have authority to use the connected account and a valid legal basis, notice, or permission where required for your end-user communications.
AI Processing
AI and, where enabled, transcription providers may process message, audio, FAQ, and website-content data to generate or support responses.
You control assistant settings, tone, business instructions, and other response criteria available in the product.
Provider-specific retention, subprocessors, region, and training or no-training terms may vary by deployed provider and should be considered together with our service-provider disclosures and support guidance.
Security
We use encryption, authentication, access controls, and other technical and organizational measures in parts of the platform.
Specific production controls can depend on deployed providers, runtime configuration, and operational processes.
We review and update security measures over time, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may share or process data with service providers needed for hosting, authentication, database operations, billing, telemetry, analytics, AI or transcription, infrastructure, logging, and related support functions.
Your data may be processed by providers located in other countries, depending on the services used to operate the platform.
We may use optional analytics technologies, including Google Analytics, to understand aggregate product usage and improve onboarding and feature quality.
These analytics are activated only after your explicit consent. If you decline, analytics collection remains disabled.
We do not use this analytics setup for remarketing, ads personalization, or Google Signals in this rollout.
When you use DarlingAI to respond to messages on WhatsApp, your contacts' phone numbers and messages are processed under the legal basis of legitimate interest (LGPD Art. 7, IX), to enable the automated customer service you have contracted. This data is stored with AES-256 encryption and is not shared with other customers or used for other purposes.
Retention
We keep different categories of data for different periods depending on service delivery, security, support, billing, legal, vendor, and backup requirements.
Some deletion and export processes are handled through support workflows and may depend on technical limits, legal obligations, and third-party provider constraints.
We do not promise a fixed deletion period unless that period is actually supported by implemented workflows, vendor behavior, and backup limits.
Your Rights
You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, information about sharing, consent-related questions, or other rights that may apply under relevant law.
Requests may require identity and authority verification, and handling may depend on whether DarlingAI is acting for its own records or processing data on behalf of a customer workspace.
Some requests may be subject to technical, legal, security, billing, vendor, or backup limitations, which we will explain when relevant.
Third parties who contact businesses using DarlingAI via WhatsApp may exercise their right to object (opt-out) by sending a message with words like 'stop' or 'unsubscribe'. Our system automatically detects these requests and stops processing messages from that number.
